> Blood-Written Heart Sutra, as a Perfect Circle

色何從眼。聲不到耳。耳色眼聲。血滴滴地。出乎爾。反乎爾。全身不在圈䙡裏。

> What is color but what the eye sees? Sound does not reach the ear. Ear is color, eye is sound—blood dripping to the ground. It comes from you, and returns to you. The whole body is never trapped within the circle.
