### 五。邪淫過

> Chapter 5: The Error of Sexual Misconduct

善男子。若復有人。樂為邪淫。是人不能護自他身。一切眾生。見皆生疑。所作之事。妄語在先。於一切時。常受苦惱。心常散亂。不能修善。喜失財物。所有妻子。心不戀慕。壽命短促。是名邪淫現在惡果。捨此身已。處在地獄。受惡色力。饑渴長命。無量苦惱。是名後世惡業果報。若得人身。惡色惡口。人不喜見。不能守護妻妾男女。是一惡人因緣力故。一切外物。不得自在。

> Good man, if someone delights in committing sexual misconduct, such a person is unable to protect himself or others. All beings who see him become suspicious. In all his actions, deceit comes first. At all times, he constantly suffers afflictions. His mind is often scattered and restless, unable to cultivate goodness. He is prone to losing his wealth and possessions. His wife and children do not feel affection toward him. His life is short and cut short. These are the present evil consequences of sexual misconduct. After abandoning this body, he is cast into hell, receiving an ugly appearance and diminished strength, enduring hunger and thirst for a long life filled with immeasurable suffering. These are the karmic retributions of evil deeds in the afterlife. If he is reborn as a human, he will have an ugly appearance, a cruel mouth, and people will not wish to see him. He will be unable to protect his wife, concubines, sons, and daughters. Because of the power of this evil person's karma, all external things will not be under his control.
