藏有三。一三藏

> Teaching one: the Tripiṭaka.

### 一。三藏

經律論也。經是化教。開誘化導也。律是制教。制約行業也。論則推徵解釋經律之意也。偈出華嚴淨行品。屬於化教。經藏攝也。據問答義意。及立名題。偈後戒相。屬於制教。律藏攝也。而無問答註解。故非論攝。

> The Tripitaka consists of Sutras, Vinaya, and Abhidharma. Sutras are teachings of guidance — they open, entice, teach, and lead beings. Vinaya are teachings of discipline — they regulate conduct and actions. Abhidharma are treatises that investigate and explain the meaning of the Sutras and Vinaya. The verse comes from the "Pure Conduct Chapter" of the Avatamsaka Sutra. It belongs to the category of guiding teachings and is included in the Sutra collection.
