> Tea Poems

佛印題茶詩與東坡曰。穿雲摘盡社前春。一兩平分半與君。遇客不須容易點。點茶須是吃茶人。東坡答佛印曰。嫩葉馨香兩味過。感師遠托隔煙蘿。烹來一盞精神爽。好物元來不用多。

> Foyin wrote a tea poem and presented it to Dongpo: "Through the clouds, I picked all the spring leaves before the She Festival. Sharing them equally, half for you. When a guest arrives, don't offer them lightly—a true tea drinker is the one who deserves this brew." Dongpo replied to Foyin: "Tender leaves with fragrant aroma, both surpassing ordinary tastes. I'm grateful for your gift sent from afar, across the misty vines. Brewing a cup, my spirit is refreshed. Good things, indeed, need not be many."
