> Tang Zongliang

姓馮氏。明州奉化人。開成中薙落。隷州之國寧寺。登戒。學毗尼。無遺行。會昌之難。遁居鄉里之巖谷間。大中再造國寧。徵選名德二十八人。而亮與焉。建州太守李頻。為寺󳬴。有曰。律僧宗亮。禪僧全祐。是也。晚年益謝世事。不出戶者。動經節序。其往來若方于贈詩曰。秋水一泓常見底。㵎松千尺不生枝。空門學佛知多少。淨剃心塵秖有師。竟卒。春秋八十。

亮平生與貫霜擇梧不吟數十人。皆秉清節。結林下交。撰嶽林寺󳬴。集詩三百許首。併讚頌。行世。然銳心福敬二田。且為江東羅隱。安樂孫郃。所欽慕旨重。及郃著四明才名志。尤序其名於諸儒駿士之間。其為文士先達所加仰。如此。

> Liang Pingsheng, along with Guan Shuang, Ze Wu, and several dozen others, all upheld pure integrity and formed a fellowship of forest recluses. He compiled "Yuelin Temple Collection," containing over three hundred poems, along with eulogies and praises, which circulated widely. He devoted himself earnestly to the fields of merit and reverence. He was greatly admired and esteemed by Jiangdong's Luo Yin and Anle's Sun He. When Sun He later wrote "Records of Talent in Siming," he particularly ranked Liang among the distinguished scholars and gentlemen. Such was the high regard and respect he received from the literary masters of his time.
