石首縣有沙彌道蔭。常持念金剛經。寶曆初。(廣記云長慶)因他出夜歸。中路忽遇虎。吼擲而前。沙彌知不免。乃閉目而坐。但默念經。心期救護。虎遂伏草守之及曙村人來往。虎乃去。視其蹲處。涎流於地。
