> Four Sleepers<note>2</note>

人兮不覊。虎兮不縛。是四憨癡。成一火落。雖然合眼只一般。也有睡著睡不著。

> Men are untamed. Tigers are unbound. These four foolish ones form a single blaze. Though they close their eyes and seem the same, some fall asleep, and others do not.

無固無必。挨肩𣏞膝。人夢不祥。虎夢大吉。世上有誰知。天台雲󳱬󳱬。

> Without clinging to what is fixed or certain, Shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee, In dreams, humans see omens of misfortune, While tigers dream of great fortune. Who in this world truly understands? On Mount Tiantai, the clouds drift freely, layer upon layer.
