### 觀如來品略義

> Brief Meaning of the Chapter on Contemplating the Tathagata

諸法若有自性，則如來以及如來所說之正法，皆不能安立。只有在自性空的緣起法上，一切安立，才為合理。因此安立如來、皈依處等，亦唯有依此理安立，方為正確。

> If phenomena possessed an intrinsic nature, then neither the Tathagata nor the true Dharma taught by him could be established. It is only on the basis of dependent origination, where all things are empty of intrinsic nature, that any establishment becomes meaningful. Therefore, the establishment of the Tathagata, the refuge, and so forth is correct only when grounded in this very principle.
