### 五位正偏

> Five Positions of Right and Partial

正中偏。啞子喫苦向誰言。開口已招人貶笑。祇應肚裏哭蒼天。

> \*Aligning the Absolute with the Relative:\* A mute person tastes bitterness—who can they tell about it? Speaking openly about it already invites ridicule. When does it help? They simply cry in their heart to the vast heavens.

偏中正。物物頭頭行正令。信手拈來用得親。擬欲求玄俱是病。

> The True within the Partial: All things, each and every one, follow the true command. Just pick it up freely, and you'll find it familiar. But once you try to grasp the mystery deliberately—that itself is the sickness.

正中來。云何石女也懷胎。天明生箇白頭子。九月楊花遍地開。

> Coming from the Center. How can a barren woman become pregnant? At dawn, she gives birth to a white-haired child. In the ninth month, willow catkins bloom everywhere.

偏中至。狹路相逢不須避。線去針來本自然。目擊道存兩會意。

> Reaching the Point within the Partial. When meeting on a narrow path, there's no need to avoid each other. Thread goes to needle—this is simply natural. A glance and the Way is present; both sides understand one another completely.

兼中到。動靜不分真箇妙。著衣喫󰕖本尋常。却似大蟲裹紙帽。

> When both sides are reached— Movement and stillness merge, truly wondrous. Dressing and eating are fundamentally ordinary, Yet it's like a tiger wrapped in a paper hat.
