> Furthermore,

細草蒲團終日坐。覿面相呈祇這個。神筆僧繇道不會。不會應問破竈墮。

> Sitting all day on a fine rush mat— What’s directly presented is only this. Even the divine painter, Master Zhang Sengyou, said he didn’t understand. If you don’t understand, you should inquire about "breaking through the kitchen stove."

> Furthermore,

東一筆。西一筆。幻出色相稱奇特。若言此是觀世音。莫怪達磨道不識。

> A stroke here, a stroke there— In illusion, forms and colors appear, called strange and rare. If you claim this is Guan-Yin, Don't blame Bodhidharma for saying, "I do not know him."

> Furthermore,

儀容挺特。端嚴自在。踏瓣蓮花。風流體態。金沙灘上度馬郎。至今還不盡慈悲債。

> His appearance is tall and extraordinary, dignified and at ease, stepping upon a lotus petal with a graceful, flowing demeanor. On the Golden Sand Beach, he guided the Horse-Headed Youth—yet to this day, his debt of compassion remains unfulfilled.

不是聲。不是色。聲色叢中現奇特。若人逼迫求救者。勸君但念觀音力。

水墨逞神通。良工略施巧。何者是觀音。大蟲被犬咬。

> An ink painting displays its spiritual power; a skilled artist works his subtle craft. What is Guanyin? A tiger is bitten by a dog.
