### 自號沒用

> Self-proclaimed "Useless"

溪邊一腐塊。其形若沉檀。取之無所用。刻之無所長。棄水不之去。付火不之然。能死盜賊心。善却世人貪。日夕三光下。優游天地間。都云沒用物。我道得安閑。

> By a stream bank lies a withered chunk, Looking like some precious sandalwood trunk. Pick it up — it serves no end; Carve it — no shape will it lend. Toss it in water — it won't float away; Throw it in fire — it won't burn or sway. It can kill a thief's intent; Curbing worldly greed that's ever bent. All day beneath the sun, moon, and star, It drifts freely, near and far. Everyone says it's a useless thing — I say: here's where peace and ease take wing.
