> Furthermore,

十里方圓一掩關。聊將鋤钁斷青山。白雲欲護幽人意。帶鶴和風傍夜還。

> A ten-mile retreat, a closed gate to the world, A hoe and pickaxe break the mountain's green. White clouds seek to guard the recluse's heart, Bringing cranes with the evening breeze back home.

又

> Furthermore,

懶僧終日懶擡眸。與世浮沉過了休。一個話頭忘記却。任他柳絮換狐裘。

> A lazy monk, who all day long can't be bothered to lift his eyes, Drifts along with the world, letting life pass by. He's forgotten the very topic of his meditation— Let the willow catkins change for a fox-fur robe, he'll pay it no attention.

> Furthermore,

竹林有精舍。愧無賢者居。殘僧六七輩。琪樹兩三株。伴座顛頭石。聞經乞命魚。飛飛庭際鳥。頻索飯厨餘。

> In a bamboo grove there is a quiet retreat, Yet few wise men come to sit and meditate. Six or seven monks remain, simple and shy, With two or three flowering trees standing by. A stone with a crooked head keeps me company, While fish beg for mercy as sutras are chanted across the sea. Birds flit to and fro in the courtyard so free, Often scavenging leftover meals from the kitchen of tea.

又

> Furthermore,

奇哉焦冥虫。其體若隣虗。肉眼不可見。天眼始知渠。肚子涵滄海。眉角納須彌。以其最小故。包含無有餘。

> Amazing are the tiny beings, Whose bodies are like particles of dust. Invisible to our human eyes, Only seen by celestial vision with trust. Their bellies hold the vast open seas, Their eyebrows encompass Mount Meru's peak. Yet for their minuteness, there's nothing they lack - Containing all, there's nothing we seek.
