> A bodhisattva perfects the mind that does not cling to any conceptual signs, yet their mind never fixates on action. They knowingly engage in various karmic deeds to cultivate roots of goodness and seek enlightenment, without abandoning the conditioned world. For the sake of sentient beings, they cultivate great compassion without dwelling in the unconditioned state. Because of the true wondrous wisdom of all Buddhas, they do not abandon samsara. In order to liberate countless beings without exception, they do not dwell in nirvana. This is what is called a great bodhisattva's deep aspiration for supreme enlightenment. Noble children! A bodhisattva who perfects these ten principles will never regress from unsurpassed awakening. What are the ten? One: The bodhisattva awakens the supreme mind of enlightenment and teaches others to do the same. Two: They constantly delight in seeing the Buddhas, offering their most treasured possessions as gifts to cultivate deep roots of merit. Three: In their quest for the Dharma, they respect and support Dharma teachers, listening without ever tiring. Four: If they see the monastic community divided into factions, engaged in disputes and mutual accusations, they diligently seek ways to reconcile them. Five: If they see a land where evil prevails and the Dharma is on the verge of extinction, they will recite and teach even a single verse to keep it alive, protecting it with unwavering dedication, even at the cost of their life. Six: When they see sentient beings in fear and suffering, they rescue them and grant them fearlessness. Seven: They devote themselves to diligent practice, seeking these profound Mahayana scriptures and the treasury of bodhisattva teachings. Eight: Having received such teachings, they memorize, recite, and practice them as instructed, living in accordance with them. Nine: They personally abide in the Dharma and skillfully guide many beings to enter it as well. Ten: After entering the Dharma, they explain it to others, showing, guiding, inspiring, and awakening them. A bodhisattva who perfects these ten principles will never regress from supreme enlightenment. Therefore, one should cultivate and practice this scripture. This scripture is truly inconceivable—it gives rise to the seeds of great compassion and wisdom. It awakens and guides beings burdened by afflictions to generate the mind of enlightenment. It serves as the cause of enlightenment for those heading toward awakening. It perfects the unwavering practice of all bodhisattvas. It is blessed and protected by all Buddhas past, present, and future. If virtuous men or women wish to diligently cultivate supreme enlightenment, they should widely proclaim and circulate this scripture, ensuring it never ceases throughout the land of Jambudvipa. This will allow countless sentient beings to hear it. Those who hear this scripture will obtain a sharp, inconceivable treasury of great wisdom, and an immeasurable reward of blessings and merit. Why? Because this scripture opens the pure eye of wisdom, ensures the continuity of the Buddha lineage, rescues countless suffering beings, illuminates the darkness of ignorance, destroys the four demons and their deeds, shatters all heretical views, extinguishes the great fires of afflictions, dissolves conditioned formations, cuts through the six severe diseases of greed, broken precepts, anger, laziness, distraction, and ignorance. It eliminates karmic obstructions, retribution obstacles, Dharma obstacles, affliction obstacles, view obstacles, ignorance obstacles, wisdom obstacles, and habitual obstacles. In short, this scripture causes all evil to vanish without a trace and makes all good qualities blaze and grow. If virtuous men or women hear this scripture, delight in it, and cherish it as something rare, know that such people have already made offerings to countless Buddhas and planted deep roots of merit. Why? Because this scripture is the path walked by all Buddhas of the three times. Therefore, practitioners who hear it should rejoice at their great fortune. Those who copy, recite, and study this scripture will obtain boundless blessings and merits. Why? Because the scope of this scripture is limitless. It gives rise to measureless great vows, embraces all sentient beings, and adorns the supreme enlightenment. Thus, the rewards attained through it are equally immeasurable. If someone understands its meaning and practices accordingly, even all Buddhas, with their endless wisdom over countless eons, could not fully describe the blessings and merits gained. Whenever a Dharma teacher expounds this scripture, that very place deserves to have a stupa erected. Why? Because it is the birthplace of true, genuine Dharma. Wherever this scripture goes—cities, towns, villages, monasteries, or shrines—know that the Dharma body is present there. If people make offerings of incense, flowers, music, banners, canopies, songs, praises, and reverent salutations, know that such people have already continued the Buddha's lineage. How much more so for those who fully uphold this scripture? All such people will perfect merit and wisdom, receive a prophecy in the future, and are certain to attain supreme, perfect enlightenment.
