### 第八見網門

> Chapter 8: The Net of Views

夫一切迷情依諸見起。履之則為稠林。溺之則為熱海。如蠶作繭。住處為受縛之因。似蛾赴燈。光明作喪生之本。先達云。行起解絕。將趨聖室先入普賢之門。欲修正因首割邪見之網。今約諸家負墮。略分十則。無法可捨。是見必訶。拋家蕩子慣憐羈旅之人。落第寒生備識窮途之苦。幸順佛言。莫依魔教。

> All deluded minds arise from attachment to views. Treading this path leads into a tangled forest; drowning in it becomes a sea of scorching heat. Like silkworms spinning cocoons, their dwelling place becomes the very cause of their bondage. Like moths drawn to a flame, the light becomes the root of their destruction. The ancient masters said: "When practice arises, conceptual understanding ceases." To enter the sacred realm, one must first pass through the gate of Samantabhadra. To cultivate the true cause, first cut through the net of wrong views. Here I shall briefly outline ten cases of mistaken attachments held by various schools. There is no doctrine to cling to—all views must be cut down. A prodigal son who has abandoned home pities the traveler on the road; a scholar who failed his exams knows well the hardship of a dead-end path. May you heed the words of the Buddha and not follow demonic teachings.
