### 第十釋異門

> Chapter 10: Explanation of Different Approaches

夫西方大旨經中自明。淨土要門諸論具釋。如天親．智者．海東．越溪等皆抉發幽微。舉揚宗趣。近則雲棲和尚小本疏鈔條分類析。諸師所發已無餘蘊。但諸經隨時立教。逗根說義。時有差別。致生學者疑畏。今略拈出。博採諸論。附以管見。會歸一處。以便參攷。

> The essential teachings of the Western Pure Land are clearly explained in the scriptures. The core principles of the Pure Land path are fully elaborated in various treatises. Masters such as Vasubandhu, Zhiyi, Hae-dong, and Yuexi have all uncovered the subtle truths and illuminated the essential purpose. In recent times, Master Yunqi's commentary on the Smaller Sutra has organized the teachings with great clarity and detail. The insights of these masters have left nothing unexplained. However, the scriptures are adapted to the needs of different times and tailored to the capacities of different beings. As a result, some differences in emphasis may arise, causing learners to feel confused or hesitant. I have now briefly highlighted these points, drawing widely from various commentaries and adding my own humble reflections. This compilation brings everything together in one place for convenient reference.
