慷慨正作󲉣愾同口葬反下苦代反怳慨大息也亦士不得志者也。

喟然又作󲙳同口愧反三倉喟歎息也說文大息也論語喟然歎曰何晏曰喟歎聲者也。

華孚或作󲈥說文作󲚃同芳俱詡俱二反方言華󲈥盛也齊楚之間或謂之華或謂之󲈥。

> Magnificent <note>Or written as “𣓉”. The “Shuowen” writes it as “𣓏”, which is also another form of “芳”, pronounced as “xu ju” and “xu ju 反”. In local dialects, “𣓉” means “abundant bloom”. In the regions of Qi and Chu (ancient Chinese states), it is sometimes called “華” or “𣓉”.</note>.

玓瓅丁歷反下字書作䑈同零玓反說文玓瓅明珠色經文的非體。

> Jade-like radiance (note: "Ding Li" sounds reversed; the following character is written as "邒" in the dictionary, the same as "ling"; "Ding Li" is reversed; the Shuowen dictionary says "玓瓅" refers to the color of bright pearls; this is not standard scriptural form).

暠然又作杲同古倒反埤蒼白皃也亦明也灼然明白者也經文作咼音古螢反非也。

> Radiantly clear and bright<note place="inline">Also written as 杲 (gǎo), meaning bright white appearance, as in the ancient dictionary Pi Cang. It also means clear and blazingly obvious. Sutra texts have mistakenly used the character 咼 (guō) pronounced with a different tone; this is incorrect.</note>.

歧嶷巨宜反下語棘反詩傳云歧知意也嶷識別也言能匍匐則歧然意有所知也其貌嶷有所別識也亦言六七歲也經文作奇非體之也。

> qi yi (pronounced as in "qi" and "yi" — an ancient annotation explains the meaning: when a baby begins to crawl, it shows curiosity and awareness; its expression reveals the ability to recognize and distinguish things. This term describes children around six or seven years of age. In some scriptures, it is mistakenly written as "qi", which is incorrect.)
