### 佛說銀色女經

摶若上奪欒反博雅摶著也顧野王亦令著也禮記無摶飯也說文從手專聲。

鬀須上梯帝反許注淮南子云鬀截髮也說文從髟音摽弟聲考聲云削髮從刀作剃俗字也下相逾反鄭注周禮云須髮也又從頤下須也說文亦面毛也從彡從頁象形字也。

> shaving the head<note>In the top line, a consonant ending; ancient commentary on the Huainanzi explains that "鬀" (now commonly "剃") means "to cut hair." According to the Shuowen Jiezi, it belongs to the radical 髟 (biāo), with the sound component "弟." The Kao Sheng adds that "cutting hair with a knife" is written as 剃, a character for everyday use. Below, 須, advised as pronounced "xū," is explained in the Zhou Rites as "the hair on the chin and tail." According to the Shuowen, it also means "facial hair," derived from 彡 and 頁 as a pictograph.</note>.

挽我上無返反聲類云挽引也從車作輓說文從手免或聲也。

> According to the ancient annotations, the character "挽" (wǎn) can be interpreted as "to pull" or "to draw." It is written with the "車" (chē, vehicle) radical in some versions, as seen in the "Shuowen Jiezi" (Explaining Graphs and Analyzing Characters), where it is defined as "to pull" and is formed with the "手" (shǒu, hand) radical and the phonetic component "免" (miǎn). Some versions also derive sound from other sources.
