### 三聚懺悔一卷

鹿野上盧谷反周易云即鹿無虞以從禽也說文云獸名也象角支四足形也象鹿足皆以匕。

苑中上鴛遠反蒼頡篇云養禽獸曰苑漢書有上林苑說文亦養禽獸所也從艸夗聲經作菀是藥名非苑囿之字也。

> In the garden<note place="inline">The character 苑 is pronounced as “yuan” in the third tone. According to the Cangjie Dictionary, “苑” means “a place for raising birds and beasts.” The Book of Han mentions the Shanglin Garden. The Shuowen Jiezi also defines it as “a place for raising birds and beasts.” It is composed of the radical 艸 (grass) and the phonetic component 夗. In the scripture, it is written as 菀, which refers to a medicinal herb and not the character for “garden.”</note>.
