### 十二光如來尊號

大本無量壽經。佛告阿難。無量壽佛光明最尊第一。一切諸佛光明所不能及。或照百佛世界。或照千佛世界。取要言之。乃照恒河沙佛剎。故無量壽佛亦號無量光佛。無邊光佛。無礙光佛。無對光佛。炎王光佛。清淨光佛。歡喜光佛。智慧光佛。不斷光佛。難思光佛。無稱光佛。超日月光佛。其有眾生遇斯光者。三垢消除。身意柔軟。

> The Larger Sutra of Immeasurable Life: The Buddha said to Ananda, "The light of the Buddha of Immeasurable Life is the most honored and supreme, surpassing the light of all other buddhas. It can shine upon a hundred buddha-worlds, or a thousand buddha-worlds. In short, it reaches as far as the Ganges' sands of buddha-realms. Therefore, the Buddha of Immeasurable Life is also called: - Buddha of Infinite Light - Buddha of Boundless Light - Buddha of Unobstructed Light - Buddha of Incomparable Light - Buddha of Flaming King Light - Buddha of Pure Light - Buddha of Joyful Light - Buddha of Wisdom Light - Buddha of Unceasing Light - Buddha of Inconceivable Light - Buddha of Ineffable Light - Buddha of Light Surpassing Sun and Moon Any being who encounters this light will have their three poisons eliminated, and their body and mind will become gentle and at ease.
