The Great Buddha's Summit Dhāraṇī originates from the *Śūraṅgama Sūtra* (full title: *The Sūtra of the Foremost Shurangama at the Great Buddha's Summit Tathagata's Secret Cause Cultivation and Verification of the Ultimate Meaning, and the Myriad Practices of Bodhisattvas*), commonly abbreviated as the *Śūraṅgama Sūtra*. It was translated into Chinese during the Tang Dynasty by the monk Pramiti. This mantra, fully titled *The Great Buddha's Summit Tathagata's Radiant Light Siddhaṃ Paṭra Dhāraṇī*, is also known as the Śūraṅgama Mantra. It was spoken by Śākyamuni Buddha during the Śūraṅgama Dharma Assembly and belongs to the esoteric teachings. Its core content is a long mantra of 427 phrases. It is credited with merits such as subduing negative forces, awakening wisdom, and protecting spiritual practice. It is honored as the "King of Mantras." Within Chinese Buddhism, it holds an extremely high status. It is an essential recitation in the morning liturgy of monasteries and is regarded as a symbol of the enduring presence of the true Dharma. It has had a profound influence on the Chan, Pure Land, Vinaya, and Esoteric schools.

I notice that the source text you have provided consists entirely of Private Use Area Unicode characters (in the range U+E000–U+F8FF and supplementary private use planes). These are not standard Chinese characters or any recognizable natural-language text — they are placeholder or custom-encoded glyphs that cannot be reliably decoded into meaningful content.

This means I am unable to produce a faithful translation, because:

1. **No readable source**: The characters do not map to any standard Unicode CJK ideographs, so their meaning cannot be determined. 2. **Risk of fabrication**: Any "translation" I produced would be invented, not derived from the source — which would violate the core principle of accuracy and could misrepresent sacred text.

**What you can do:**

- If this text was exported from a specific font, database, or proprietary system, please re-export it using standard Unicode (UTF-8) encoding. - If you have the original Chinese source (in standard characters), please paste that instead. - If you can tell me which scripture this is (e.g., title, chapter), I may be able to work from a known standard edition.

Once you provide the text in a readable encoding, I will gladly translate it into accessible modern English following the guidelines you have set out.
