### 浮漚歌

> Song of the Floating Bubble

君不見驟雨近看庭際流。水上隨生無數漚。一滴初成一滴破。幾迴銷盡幾迴浮。浮漚聚散無窮已。大小殊形色相似。有時忽起名浮漚。銷竟還同本來水。浮漚自有還自無。象空象色總名虗。究竟還同幻化影。愚人喚作半邊珠。此時感歎閑居士。一見浮漚悟生死。皇皇人世總名虗。暫借浮漚以相比。念念人間多盛衰。逝水東注永無期。寄言世上榮豪者。歲月相看能幾時。

> Do you not see the sudden rain, seen from the courtyard edge? On the water, countless bubbles rise without end. One drop first forms, one drop then breaks— How many times do they vanish, how many times do they float again? These floating bubbles gather and scatter without cease, Their sizes differ, yet their colors are alike. Sometimes they suddenly rise, and we call them floating bubbles— But once they break, they return to the same original water. The floating bubbles exist on their own, then vanish on their own— Whether like emptiness or like form, all are called illusion. In the end, they are like phantom shadows, Yet fools call them "half a pearl." At this moment, I sigh for the idle scholar, Who, seeing a floating bubble, awakened to birth and death. The bustling human world is all named illusion— We briefly borrow the floating bubble as a comparison. Thought after thought, the world sees much rise and fall, Like water flowing eastward, never to return. I say to the world's glorious and wealthy ones: How many times can you watch the years pass by?
