> Venerable Bie Man

丹山鳳窟冷相依。 慚愧如今羽翼齊。 雲外翔鳴同頡頏。林間啄步暫分携。 玉華㘅處天容曉。珠樹捿時月影低。 引喙醴泉期後會。 殆將新語濯塵泥。

> On the cold cliffs of Dan Mountain, phoenixes dwell in quiet companionship. Now, with wings fully grown, I feel a humble gratitude. Soaring and calling beyond the clouds, we rise and fall together. Among the woods, pecking and stepping, we part for a time. At dawn, the sky brightens where jade blossoms are carried in beaks. In the pearl trees where we rest, the moonlight casts low shadows. We dip our beaks in sweet springs, hoping to meet again, Ready to wash away the dust and mud with new words.
