> Traveling with Dharma Master Shangren to Huang's Residence in the Southern Valley

淡煙蒼樹水濺濺。 黃氏初平已得仙。 滿地癡羊不收拾。夕陽零亂繞籬眠。

> Pale mist, dark trees, water splashes clear, Huang Chuping has attained the immortal sphere. A field of foolish sheep, none gathered in, Scattered by sunset light, they sleep by the fence.

亂石深雲尋野泉。 老儂怪我地行仙。 鍾情山水醇於酒。今夜竹床成醉眠。

> Through wild rocks and deep clouds, I seek a mountain spring. An old farmer wonders at me, a sage who walks the earth. My passion for hills and streams is richer than wine— Tonight, on a bamboo bed, I'll sleep as if drunk.
