### 投食山家

> Providing Food to Monastic Communities

霜晨䔧杖起孤禪。 乞食山家圖省緣。 斜徑順風鳴竹火。飛甍迷眼映松煙。 秋羹木鼈有真味。午飯樹鷄無俗羶。 誰謂客床臥不穩。 我無支遁買山錢。

> At dawn, with frost on the ground, I rise alone to meditate, my staff in hand. I beg for food from mountain dwellers, seeking to simplify my life. Along the winding path, the wind carries the sound of bamboo crackling in the fire. Flying eaves catch my eye, shimmering through the pine-scented mist. Autumn stew made with wood turtle has a genuine flavor. Noon meal of tree mushrooms carries no ordinary greasiness. Who says a traveler's bed cannot offer rest? I have no need for funds to buy a mountain retreat like Zhi Dun.
