> Seeking Verses for Lamp Oil in the Hall of Wisdom, Hall of Buddhas, and Monks' Hall

佛燈誰我續光明。 果若蓮開大夢醒。 香草有心持潔白。蘭膏無脚湛寒青。 默耕化外那知夜。真照壺中不覺冥。 家世兒孫傳底事。 從教輝耀顯門庭。

> Who will carry on the light of the Buddha's lamp for me? When the lotus of enlightenment blooms, the great dream awakens. The fragrant grass, with a pure heart, holds fast to its spotless white. The orchid oil, though without feet, soaks into the cool green depths. Silently cultivating beyond the world, who knows the passing of night? True illumination within the vessel goes unnoticed in the darkness. What legacy will be passed down to sons and grandsons of this family? Let it be taught, that radiance may shine brightly through the household.
