妙藏絕隣。 畢竟無身也。 清虛之理真。 幽靈獨神。須臾返色也。 自照之智親。 雲寒有雪意。 天遠連秋津。緣起佛種。 覺生幻塵。 語細音柔。 丹山鳳鶵之韻。目深眉重。 檀林師子之顰。 借位途中賓主。借功門裏君臣。 洞水逆流。 望雲巖而半肯。曹山顛酒。 知清稅未全貧。 曲木床頭握麈尾。心傳一句付其人。

> The wondrous treasure lies beyond all neighbors, Ultimately without a body. The principle of clarity and emptiness is true, A solitary spirit, mysterious and profound. In an instant, it returns to form, The wisdom of self-illumination draws near. Clouds chill with the hint of snow, The distant sky meets autumn's shores. From dependent arising, the Buddha-seed awakens, Enlightenment emerges from illusory dust. Words gentle, tones soft— Like the song of a young phoenix from Dan Mountain. Eyes deep, brows heavy— The lion's frown in the sandalwood grove. On the path of borrowed positions, guest and host, Within the gate of borrowed merit, ruler and subject. The cave's waters flow backward, Gazing at Cloud Cliff with half-acceptance. On Caoshan's peak, wine is poured, Knowing Qing Shui is not wholly poor. On the curved-wood bed, holding the whisk, A single phrase of mind-to-mind transmission is passed to that person.
