蒼棱羼顏。 璠璵蘊石而輝山。 老節歲寒。 琥珀抱松而永年。威音未興之際。 混沌欲鑿之前。叢林大義兮道尊百丈。 剎海平潮兮月現三千。我為爾說法。 爾為我開田。 據坐松根石頭上。知音人信默心傳。

> Azure peaks and craggy faces, Like jade hidden in stone that makes the mountain shine. Aged knots endure the winter's chill, Like amber embracing pine, eternal through time. Before the sound of awakening arose, Before chaos was first carved and defined. In the great forest of meaning, the Way honors Baizhang; Across seas of temples, calm tides under a moon that shines three thousandfold. I speak the Dharma for you, You clear the fields for me, Sitting firm on a stone by the pine's root. Those who understand—in silent trust, the heart transmits.

紹興丁丑夏安居日。小師比丘智宣。募緣開板。

> In the summer retreat of the year Dingchou during the Shaoxing era, the junior disciple Bhikshu Zhixuan raised funds to carve the printing blocks.

奉三寶弟子。吳興王守超。并女弟子章二十八娘。憑小十三娘子。共施家財助緣開板。各答四恩三有。比丘靈岳冲義施財添開板。答四恩三有者。

> Devoted disciples of the Three Jewels, Wang Shouchao of Wuxing, along with female disciples Zhang Ershiba Niang and Ping Xiaoshisan Niangzi, have together contributed their family wealth to support the carving of these printing blocks, each repaying the Four Kindnesses and the Three Realms of Existence. The monk Lingyue Chongyi also contributed funds to further the carving of the blocks, repaying the Four Kindnesses and the Three Realms of Existence.
