> Instructions for Wu Dajun

莫管悟與不悟。莫管有無內外中間。莫管止觀。莫管與他法門同與不同。既疑情不起。亦莫管是誰不是誰。但執持名號。一心一意。無間無斷。純一不雜做去。

> Don't worry about whether you are enlightened or not. Don't worry about existence, non-existence, inside, outside, or the in-between. Don't worry about stopping thought or observing the mind. Don't worry about whether this method is the same as or different from other practices. Even if a sense of doubt or inquiry doesn't arise, don't worry about who is doing the practice or who isn't. Simply hold the name steadfastly—single-minded and one-hearted, without pause or break, pure and undiluted—and just keep going.
