### 答嘉興孫無高居士廣抑

> Response to Householder Sun Wugao of Jiaxing

日課就帖上略註。以今尚有舉業。其淨修。惟貴簡約直捷。未可繁多。如觀音文。金剛經。無暇誦持。則一味念佛。亦自功德不少耳。

> For daily practice, just paste up the brief notes on the wall. Since you still have scholarly pursuits to attend to, your pure cultivation should prioritize simplicity and directness -- it should not be too involved. If you don't have time to recite texts like the Guanyin Sutra or the Diamond Sutra, then simply focusing on reciting the Buddha's name will still bring you considerable merit.
