> Instruction for Dazhuo

有生必有死 長短安足論 今得圓僧相平生願已滿 常生大歡喜 切勿懷憂惱萬緣俱放下 但一心念佛 往生極樂國上品蓮華生 見佛悟無生 還來度一切

> Where there is birth, there is death— Why worry whether life is long or short? Now I have attained the perfect form of a monk, And the wishes of this life are fulfilled. Always be filled with great joy, Do not hold onto sorrow or worry. Let go of all worldly ties, With single-minded devotion, recite the Buddha's name. Thus you will be reborn in the Land of Ultimate Bliss, Born on a lotus of the highest grade. Seeing the Buddha, you awaken to the unborn nature of all things, And return to liberate all beings.
