> Righteousness Cannot Be Betrayed

兩情始相歡 結義重金石 一朝變故生背棄已如擲 嗟哉禽獸心 鬼神瞰其側不見漢曾孫 故劍殷勤覔 母以新情牽頓令舊情失 新舊總歸空 大夢何時極願言盡此身 同生極樂國

> When love first blossoms and hearts unite, Their bond is sworn as deep as gold and stone. But soon when trouble comes, the scene takes flight— As if a vow were casually overthrown. Alas, a heart so brutish, unrestrained— Even ghosts and gods look on from where they hide. Recall how once a Han emperor, pained, Sought out his old sword with a longing pride. Don't let new passion pull your love apart, And cause the former love to be undone. New loves and old—both vanish from the heart. When will this great dream's cycle ever run? I vow to give this body, all my days, To be reborn in that Pure Land of grace.
