### 遊名山不願西方

> Wandering Famous Mountains, Yet Not Aspiring to the Western Pure Land

遊五臺者。曰文殊在。遊峨嵋者。曰普賢在。遊普陀者。曰觀世音在。獨不曰西方極樂世界。有彌陀在乎。又不曰三大士者徒仰嘉名。阿彌陀佛現在說法。親炙休光之為愈乎。又不曰䟦涉三山。累年月而後到。信心念佛。一彈指而往生乎。大可歎也。

> Those who visit Mount Wutai say, "Manjushri is here." Those who visit Mount Emei say, "Samantabhadra is here." Those who visit Mount Putuo say, "Guanyin is here." But why don’t they say, "In the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, there is Amitabha Buddha?" And why don’t they say, "The three great Bodhisattvas are only known by their revered names, while Amitabha Buddha is teaching the Dharma right now—wouldn’t it be better to personally receive his radiant guidance?" And why don’t they say, "Traveling to the three mountains takes months or even years to reach, but with faithful mindfulness of the Buddha, you can be reborn in the Pure Land in an instant?" How truly regrettable this is.
