Face-to-Face Confession and Uposatha Ceremony

On the day of the Uposatha, if there are three people, they face each other to perform the practice. They uncover their heads, remove their shoes, join their palms, and kneel facing one another. The senior monk first speaks these words:

Venerable elders, with a focused mind, I reflect: today, on the fifteenth day of the month, the Sangha gathers to recite the precepts. I, the monk [Name], am pure.

The same is repeated three times. For the last two repetitions, the wording is identical. If there are only two people, omit the word "all" and simply say "Venerable Ones." The rest of the text remains the same.
