> The birthday of the Earth God, on the fourth day of the third lunar month.

仰啟聖聰俯垂昭鑒。

> Humbly I pray that the Sacred Wisdom may look down upon us, and with benevolent grace illuminate our path.

今月初四日。菴門伏遇　當山土地翊應俟周宣靈王降誕之辰。營備香花燈燭茶果珍羞以伸供養。謹集合菴僧道眾諷誦　大佛頂首楞嚴神呪。稱揚聖號。所集功德。奉為神靈仰酬森護。伏願　神光叶贊發輝有利之勳。梵宇昌隆永錫無私之慶。十方三世云云。

> On the fourth day of this month, we honor the birthday of King Zhou Xuanling, the guardian deity of this mountain and protector of our monastery. We prepare incense, flowers, lamps, candles, tea, fruits, and delicacies as offerings. Together, the monks and Daoists of this monastery recite the Sacred Mantra of the Buddha's Crown Shurangama and praise the holy name. We dedicate the merit of these practices to the deity, thanking him for his profound protection. We pray that his divine light may assist and bring forth beneficent achievements, that the monastery flourishes and is ever blessed with impartial grace. May all beings in the ten directions and three times <note>et cetera</note>.
