第二釋名者，隨者隨順事理無二無別，喜是慶己慶他聞深奧法，順理有實功德，順事有權功德，慶己有智慧，慶他有慈悲，權實智斷合而說之，故言隨喜功德品。

> Now we will explain the title. "Accompanying" means aligning with both principle and phenomena, without any difference between them. "Joy" is the feeling of celebrating for oneself and others upon hearing the profound Dharma. Aligning with principle brings true merit, while aligning with phenomena brings skillful merit. Celebrating for oneself gives rise to wisdom, and celebrating for others gives rise to compassion. Skillful means and true wisdom, knowledge and judgment, are brought together and explained as one; therefore this is called the Chapter on the Merit of Rejoicing.
