### 送翠峯長老之京

> Sending Abbot Cuifeng to the Capital

不見同光帝。收得中原未為貴。茫茫海內沒人知。至寶獲來有誰󳬇。興化略借看。光明照天地。托起幞頭脚。露出金色臂。不見宋太宗。與僧相別靈山中。三千年記語可驗。無影樹下盤金龍。當今天子更超越。我佛心宗親口說。聖文神武三四王。大地山河凜英烈。左右盡皐夔。八方皆稷契。風俗既還淳。吾道何昭徹。灌頂大國師。一一承記莂。切莫高眠愛洞庭。行行正好朝金闕。拈却東山下左邊。覿體全真此時節。

> Do not speak of Emperor Tongguang. Even winning the Central Plains is not precious. In the vast world, no one knows— A priceless treasure attained—and who is there to reach for it? Xinghua briefly looked, and the light of the treasure illumined heaven and earth. Lifting the turban headwear, he revealed a golden arm. Do not speak of Emperor Taizong of Song. He parted with the monk in the Spirit Mountain. The three-thousand-year prophecy is now verified: Beneath a shadowless tree coils a golden dragon. The present Son of Heaven far surpasses these. With the Buddha-mind lineage, he speaks directly. The sage emperor, civil and martial, like three or four ancient kings, His bold heroism chills the mountains and rivers of the great earth. At his left and right are Gao Yao and Xie—perfect ministers. In all directions are like Hou Ji and Xie—sagely officials. Since customs have returned to simplicity, How clearly is our Way now illuminated! The Crown-dhara Great State Preceptor, Every one of you has received the prophecy and transmission. Do not let yourselves recline in love for the Dongting Lake; Go forth! The time is right to travel toward the Golden Gate. Discard the former attachment—East Mountain's left side cast aside. Right now, in this very season, Directly embody Full Reality.
