Thus, every washing and cleansing is a means of endless convenience, and no blessing is greater than the merit they receive. If the necessary conditions are lacking, if water is not properly prepared, how can one escape the various concerns in daily life? Accordingly, these several guidelines are established specifically as a mirror for this lodge, so that those who later take up this duty may follow them accordingly and together accomplish this excellent undertaking. - 起期進堂齋。及散期出堂年節齋。并普茶。宜隨分置辦。 - 期內大眾。合用布巾。草紙履屐。器用雜物等。宜置辦。 - 期內。佛前各處香。油。燈籠等。宜置辦。 - 起期。合用服飾茶菓送方丈。及頭首等。宜置辦。。 - 浴期五日一遍。以逢五逢十為限。如明日朔望。則十四念九日設浴。 - 逢期。先掛開浴牌。午後排設香桌。及湯熱時。燃香三炷。請住持入浴。另打點茶菓伺候。 - 住持浴畢。入堂請浴。隨到諸頭首寮處。 - 頭首浴畢。當通知客。請檀越居士浴。然後行籌。內外照班入浴。復敲梆催趲。次第亦然。 - 凡眾浴畢。或點糖湯。隨宜管待。 - 凡遇浴期。先要爭洗浴塘取水。及午後請浴時。排設香几。衣架。面盆。布巾。草履木套耳𭺗。脚剪等以供眾用。 - 大眾浴畢。須洗淨盆塘。晒㫰布巾。收拾雜物等。 - 浴期逢冬。宜安設焙爐。以便烘煖衣服。 - 湯水要充足。冷煖得宜。或遇夜有要緊客情索一浴者。雖非期限。亦宜應之。 - 早晚路燈。及時照管。并謹慎火燭柴灰等。 - 早晚潔掃糞池。挑滌淨器。備辦紙籌。預供眾用。 - 期內所有供眾等物。毋自己濫用。 - 本寮所有常住什物宜私自登簿。以便查考。 - 處眾貴寬和。不得恃職亢上凌下。 - 職滿日。所有供眾食物。并油燭等。宜送入常住。 - 職滿日。將本寮所有常住什物。及供眾零碎等項。簡點分明。交與圊頭照管。毋致混亂。 已上數條。當職者。各宜臨事覺察。量力行之可也。或有欵數不週。惟冀隨時體諒。此諭。 > The few guidelines above should be observed by those in charge, each according to their duties, applying them with awareness and within their capacity.
