### 福智無比分第二十四

> Chapter 24: Blessings and Wisdom Beyond Measure

須菩提。若三千大千世界中所有諸須彌山王。如是等七寶聚有人持用布施。若人以此般若波羅蜜經乃至四句偈等。受持讀誦為他人說。於前福德百分不及一。百千萬億分。乃至算數譬喻所不能及。

> Subhuti, if someone were to take all the mountains Sumeru in the entire universe and pile them up as seven kinds of jewels, then use that immense treasure to give to others, their good fortune would still be almost nothing compared to the good fortune of someone who simply accepts, understands, recites, and teaches even a single four-line verse from this Perfection of Wisdom Sutra to others. The first person's blessing doesn't even come close to one percent, one hundred-thousandth, or even one billionth of the second person's—it's impossible to illustrate the difference using numbers or metaphors.

彌勒頌曰。

> Maitreya praises with a verse:

施寶如沙數 唯成有漏因不如無我觀 了妄乃名真欲證無生忍 要假離貪瞋人法知無我 逍遙出六塵

> Offering treasures numerous as Ganges sand Only plants the seeds of worldly gain. Far better is the insight of no-self— Seeing illusion, we touch the real. To attain the acceptance of non-arising, We must learn to leave greed and hate behind. When we know that no self exists in persons or things, We roam free, released from the six dusts.
