### 大力量人

> A Person of Great Strength

松源和尚云。大力量人因甚擡脚不起。又云。開口不在舌頭上。

> Master Songyuan said: "Why is it that a person of great strength cannot lift their foot to take a step?" He also said: "Opening the mouth is not about the tongue."

無門曰。松源可謂。傾膓倒腹。只是欠人承當。縱饒直下承當。正好來無門處喫痛棒。何故𦗚。要識真金。火裏看。

> Wumen said: Songyuan can be said to have poured out his heart and emptied his guts, only lacking someone to take it up. Even if one takes it up directly at that moment, they should come to Wumen to receive a painful blow. Why? If you want to recognize true gold, look at it in the fire.

頌曰。

> The verse says:

擡脚踏翻香水海 低頭俯視四禪天一箇渾身無處著 請續一句

> Step over the fragrant sea, turned by a raised foot, Lowering the head to gaze upon the four meditation heavens. A whole body with no place to rest— Please continue with one line.
