### 二僧卷簾

> Two Monks Roll Up the Blinds

清涼大法眼。因僧齋前上參。眼以手指簾。時有二僧。同去卷簾。眼曰。一得一失。

> The Great Dharma Eye of Qingliang, during the monks' meal-time consultation, pointed to the curtain with his finger. Two monks went to roll it up together. The Great Dharma Eye said, "One gained, one lost."

無門曰。且道是誰得誰失。若向者裏著得一隻眼。便知清涼國師敗闕處。然雖如是。切忌向得失裏商量。

> Wumen says: Tell me, who gains and who loses? If you can see with one eye right here, you will understand where National Teacher Qingliang fell short. But even so, do not deliberate over gain and loss.

頌曰。

> The verse says:

卷起明明徹太空 太空猶未合吾宗爭似從空都放下 綿綿密密不通風

> Rolling up the bright clarity that fills all space— Yet even vast space is not yet one with my school. Better to let go completely, releasing everything from the void— Soft and continuous, so dense it leaves no gap for the wind.
