### 昇元寺

> Shengyuan Temple

昇元寺即瓦棺寺也。在城西隅瞰江面。後踞崇岡最為古跡。累經兵火。略無彷彿。李王時昇元閣猶在。乃梁朝故物。

> Shengyuan Temple is the former Waguan Temple. Located in the western corner of the city, it overlooks the river and sits against a tall hill, making it one of the most ancient sites. Repeatedly ravaged by war and fire, almost nothing of its original form remains. During the time of King Li, the Shengyuan Pavilion still stood—a relic from the Liang Dynasty.
