The *Orthodox Manual for Transmitting the Precepts* was composed by the eminent Vinaya master Read-Ti during the Shunzhi era of the Qing dynasty. This work systematically organizes the ceremonial procedures for conferring the Three Platform Ordinations in Chinese Buddhism, meticulously standardizing the protocols for bestowing the śrāmaṇera precepts, bhikṣu precepts, and bodhisattva precepts, along with the dignified conduct and observances pertaining to them.
