### 大慧

> Mahāmati

更無回互本圓成。 覿面無私一體平。 水上東山行不住。火中木馬夜嘶鳴。 人間但見浮雲白。天外常看列岫橫。若為平常心是道。 擬心已在銕圍城。

> There is no turning back, for all is inherently perfect. Face to face, without bias, all is equal and one. Upon the water, the eastern mountain moves yet does not rest. In the fire, the wooden horse neighs through the night. In the human world, one only sees the white drifting clouds. Beyond the heavens, the peaks stand in constant array. If you think that the ordinary mind is the Way, The moment you conceive of it, you are already trapped within the iron fortress.

浮山云。據圓極法門。本具十數。今此九帶。已為諸人說了也。更有一帶。諸人還見麼。若也見得親切分明。却請出來說看。說得相應。則通前九帶。圓明道眼。若也見不親切。說不相應。但依吾語言。以為己解。則名謗法。無有是處。諸人到此合作麼生。眾皆罔措。師遂叱散。

> Fushan said: According to the ultimate Dharma gate, there are originally ten categories. Now, I have already explained these nine for everyone. There is still one more—do you all see it? If you see it clearly and distinctly, then please step forward and explain it. If your explanation corresponds, then you will penetrate the previous nine and illuminate the eye of the Way. But if you do not see it clearly, and your explanation does not correspond, yet you rely on my words as your own understanding—that is called slandering the Dharma, and there is no truth in it. What should you all do at this point? The assembly was at a loss. The master then dismissed them with a shout.
