我手何似佛手。 隨分拈花折柳。 忽然撞著頭蛇。未免遭他一口。

> How does my hand compare to the Buddha's hand? Casually plucking flowers or breaking willow branches. Suddenly bumping into a snake's head— inevitably, it bites me.

我脚何似驢脚。 趙州石橋略彴。 忽然築起皮毬。崩倒三山五嶽。

> My foot, how like a donkey's hoof. Zhaozhou's stone bridge, a simple plank. Suddenly, a leather ball is kicked up— Toppling three mountains and five peaks.

人人有箇生緣。 蹲身無地鑽研。 若也眼皮迸綻。累他桶底踢穿。

> Each person has a place of origin, Yet crouching, there's no ground to delve into. If your eyelids suddenly burst open, You'll make him kick right through the bucket's bottom.
