> Three Verses of Master Pu'an

乾坤并萬象。 地獄及天堂。 物物皆真現。 頭頭總不傷。

> Heaven, earth, and all phenomena, Hell and paradise alike— In each thing, truth appears; In every moment, nothing is harmed.

堆山積嶽來。 一一盡塵埃。 更擬論玄妙。 氷消瓦解摧。

> Mountains piled high, peaks stacked tall— All turn to dust in the end. If you try to discuss the profound and subtle, It shatters like ice, crumbles away.

辨口利詞問。 高低總不虧。 還如應病藥。 診候在臨時。

> When sharp words come questioning, Whether high or low, never lacking. Just like medicine for the illness, The diagnosis lies in the moment.
