> Ancient Virtues: The Essential Principles

楖𣗖橫擔宇宙寬。 得盤桓處且盤桓。 水流東㵎朝西㵎。雲起南巒下北巒。 生銕鄆針挑蜀錦。古松瓊葉落珠盤。 折旋未擬經殘雨。 沒足泥塗過欝單。

> The staff across my shoulders spans the universe, vast and wide. Where I can linger, there I'll stay awhile. Water from the eastern stream flows toward the western gorge. Clouds rise from the southern peaks, drift down to the northern slopes. A needle of raw iron pierces through Shu's finest brocade. From ancient pines, jade leaves fall onto a pearl-like tray. Before I turn, I've yet to pass through lingering rain. Through muddy paths, I wade, crossing the land of Uttarakuru.
