> Three Falls of Silent Sound

紛然作息同。 銀盌裏盛雪。 若欲異牯牛。 與牯牛何別。䫫。

> All actions are the same in essence. Snow in a silver bowl. If you try to distinguish an ox from an ox, How are they any different?

隨有聞皆無聞。 有見元無物。 若斷聲色求。 木偶當成佛。

> When hearing, there is no hearing. When seeing, there is nothing to see. If you seek by cutting off sound and form, A wooden puppet could become a Buddha.

尊貴生在帝王家。 那復有尊貴。 自應著珍御。 顧見何驚異。

> Born into the royal house, What is there to revere? Adorned in precious finery, Why should one marvel at the sight?
