石龜不念嵗月古舊記已滅名尚留道傍蒼木老霜雪澗畔野草隨春秋訛傳細讀華陽傳靈跡獨聞姚比丘可憑定力驗今昔人間万事徒悠悠

> The stone tortoise does not recall the ages of old; Its inscribed name remains by the roadside, though the record has faded. Aged trees by the stream endure frost and snow; Wild grass along the bank follows spring and autumn. Reading closely the tales passed down in the Huayang record, This sacred trace is known only through the monk Yao. By the power of concentration, one may test past and present; All worldly matters drift away, endless and transient.
