### 山居

> Mountain Dwelling

貧居山野絕餘糧。明月清風伴草床。榾柮一爐虀滿鉢。安閒不較世炎涼。

> Living in the mountains, my simple home lacks grain, the bright moon and clear breeze accompany my straw bed. A single fire in the stove, a bowl filled with pickled greens, I dwell in peace, unconcerned with the world's changing fortunes.

破單風雪透衣冷。袖手圍爐對死灰。豈是蒼天偏苦我。法身凍不殺如來。

> A single gust of snow cuts through robes, cold piercing to the bone. With sleeves tucked, I sit by the brazier, facing this lifeless ash. Could it be that heaven is especially cruel to me alone? Yet the Dharma-body of the Tathāgata cannot be frozen to death by cold.
