Sutra on the Origin of All Dharmas Translated during the Wu Kingdom of the Three Kingdoms period by the scripture translator Zhi Qian. This sutra expounds the core teaching that all dharmas originate from desire, analyzing how desire gives rise to various phenomena and afflictions in the world. It belongs to the early Buddhist scriptures. Reflecting the introductory stage of Buddhist teachings into China, it provides important textual evidence for studying the Buddhist thought of the Han and Wei dynasties. Although brief in length, its principles are profound, making it a significant scripture for understanding fundamental Buddhist concepts.
